Power of Attorney can be done in person at the Consul General's office, by appointment, or sent by mail to the Consul General to be legalized for those done before a notary public.
- All Power of Attorney (in person or by mail) should include the full identity of both applicant and recipient: First and Last name, Father's name, Mother's name, Date of Birth, Nationality, I.D. or passport number and date of issuance, Registry place and number in Lebanon.
- A wait period is expected while waiting for an appointment. Power of Attorney appointments may take between 20 minutes and 2 hours based on requirements. Please specify if more than one person will attend.
- Any Power of Attorney received by mail without the above mentioned information, will be returned to the sender.
- Applicants applying for Power of Attorney (In person or by mail) over the age of 72 must provide a medical report stating mental competency
